Atom’s experience in the agriculture and food industry

I am the kind of person who can often achieve the highest level of work in the industry. To put it modestly, it is the credit of many people. It is not done by me alone, and I cannot say that I have a 100% success rate. And judging from past experience, although others think they are successful and well-known projects, in my opinion they are all failures.

The fact is, I always have the opportunity to join the top-level projects in the industry. Why do I have the ability to do the top-level projects in the industry?

I don’t know why I am so persistent in trying to do things to the extreme. Several children raised by the same family and parents have different personalities and habits.

All I can say is that all this is arranged by God! Because diligence can make up for weakness. I am not smart enough, but I am diligent enough.

I often work harder than the company boss. I can stay in the office 24 hours a day and work all the time except for eating, sleeping and necessary exercise.

Some people think that 996 is too cruel (the practice in China’s IT industry is that working hours are from 9 am to 9 pm, 6 days a week).

What is 996? I can take the initiative to be 007.

To give an overview of my past professional experience in China, taking the agriculture and food industry as an example:

2005-2008, Beijing Tourism Service Center

I frequently serve various conferences and forums, including international organizations such as UNEP and FAO. I am tired of eating the buffets of major five-star hotels in Beijing for high-level meetings at the Great Hall of the People or State Guesthouses. As a result, I was prematurely exhausted physically and mentally before the age of 27, which prompted me to return to the countryside to work on an organic farm and eat brown rice and wild vegetables for several years.

2010-2012, Beijing Little Donkey Citizen Farm

At that time, it was the most well-known Internet celebrity farm in China's mainstream media. The operating entity was registered as a non-profit and most of the employees were volunteers. I was responsible for the IT and e-commerce of the farm. I was the first in China to implement fresh food delivery management software for more than 2,000 households. project.

During this period, I was responsible for serving embassies, international schools and multinational companies, delivering ingredients to the US Embassy’s state banquet menu, and cooperating with the celebrity chef of the most famous internet celebrity restaurant in the United States, Chez Paniss. , the restaurant has been awarded one Michelin star many times and is favored by political and business celebrities.

In addition, I also deliver ingredients to top wealthy areas such as Beijing Galaxy Bay. Many of my customers live between the East Second Ring Road and the Third Ring Road, and they are either rich or expensive.

As one of the few students working in rural areas who can speak English fluently, due to work needs, I once again entered Vanity Fair and dined with many celebrities and powerful people.

2012-2013, Alibaba

I have planned and arranged many organic agriculture tour groups. I once received a team of vice presidents and directors of Alibaba, whose job numbers were around 200. They took me to Taobao’s New Agricultural Development Department in Hangzhou and participated in the creation of China’s first An organic farm direct sales online platform based on the origin concept;

Witnessed the doubling of sales during the Double 11 carnival night, with online sales of agricultural products and food categories reaching RMB 19 billion in 2012.

2016-2017, NetEase

During this period, I was brought to NetEase by a human resources headhunter and joined the Ding Lei Pig Raising Project, which was very popular at the time. Although they hyped an ordinary black pig into an Internet celebrity, it was an unfair and over-exaggerated advertising and marketing behavior.

But I am one of the very few people who are down-to-earth and do practical things. I single-handedly led a team of external amateur volunteers to systematically introduce EU animal welfare standards to Internet companies. Although the breeding department did not accept it, it was realized in online courses and media content. This is the first farm animal welfare project in China that is actually engaged in public welfare in the name of business;

2018-2019, a century-old store

Withdrawing from those big companies, I finally had no choice but to start my own business, mainly engaged in online marketing and e-commerce of century-old brand foods (called "time-honored brands" in mainland China).

I was recognized by the leaders of the government’s commercial department and the Time-honored Brand Association, but things went beyond my imagination. The leaders wanted to recruit me as their son-in-law, who would inherit the family’s assets of 100 million ⋯⋯

All of the above are just fleeting flashes, because many of them are against my nature. I don’t like them and gave up after a short time. They were all about working for others and realizing their ideals for others. I must do it for myself. To live, keep working hard.

My last major career change was because of China's food safety issues, so I jumped to the agricultural and food industry, and then I reached the ceiling of China's industry.

This time, I had accommodation problems again, so I was backed into a corner, and once again I had to dive in, fight back, and maybe I could reach the ceiling of the industry in Europe again.

What age is it? Many of us have not even solved the basic problems of survival (food, housing). This is not because human beings are not capable of creating material wealth, but because human society is in a state of morbidity on a large scale.
