My three moving experiences
Atom, 2024.9.1
Even though the real estate market is generally considered to be expensive and the housing supply is tight, there are still many houses to be found. There are some houses that we don’t want to live in, or we want to move soon after moving in because of bad luck and problems with the neighbors. Hygiene and public order are terrible.
I have been living in central Europe for 2 years, but it has been difficult to find suitable accommodation, mainly due to health and public order issues. The following is the bad experience of moving three times.
First time, April 2022, dirty HPV refugee camp
I once lived in an HPV refugee camp, which used to be a living base left by the US military after World War II.
Refugees do not have to work. They lie down all day long, watching TikTok short videos, playing games, basking in the sun, smoking, eating melon seeds, and leisurely drinking coffee and Coke. Many refugees are fat and have big shoulders and round waists. They are more like nouveau riche in small towns. , rather than those who are hungry, cold and suffering.
Some refugee camps are as chaotic as prisons, with noise, theft, disordered work and rest, and filth. They waste a lot of food packaging, electricity, heating and food, and litter and pollute the environment.
I reported this to management many times in person or via email, but never received an effective response.

The second time, in June 2022, the fraudulent second landlord
I started moving in on June 23, 2022, and spent nearly 1,000 euros to live in a messy apartment for a week. At the end of June, the second landlord reminded me to pay next month’s rent again. He said, “German law stipulates: monthly If you rent, even if you only live one day a month, you must pay the entire month's rent, which is calculated from the beginning of the month.
I thought this was fraud and asked to return the rent, but was told by the second landlord that the money would not be refunded. I reported this rental fraud case to multiple departments, including the rental website, the police station, the city government, the tenants association, and the public welfare organization Caritas. Get any valid response.

The third time, April 2024, student apartments without rules
A medium-sized international youth apartment called CA has hundreds of tenants who are students from all over the world or young people who have just started working. The government has invested 30 million euros as an affordable housing for education projects. The rent is relatively low compared to other apartments. The commercial housing is cheap, well-equipped and has complete facilities and functions.
I once lived there for half a year and saw that many people's lives were dirty and chaotic. Many corners had the smell of refugee camps and homeless people, as well as the style of gathering points for fans of marijuana and nightclubs. Nearly half of the neighbors didn't want to or didn't want to I can't do house cleaning and maintenance, but my mental condition is not good.
I couldn't find their management, wrote several letters of complaint, and interviewed several staff members, all of which was procrastination and blame passing without any positive feedback.
