Catechumen Internship
--For new Christians
Here, we collectively refer to those who pursue the path of truth but lack practical experience and believers (novices) as seekers.
The path of spiritual practice is difficult to walk alone
From the apartments and roommates they live in, it can be seen that their lifestyle and behavioral habits do not meet the standards of believers. What about new believers who have joined the church for less than a year, and ordinary people who are still wandering outside the church gate?
Many people live alone away from family and friends. In Europe, which worships the so-called "freedom, democracy, and mutual respect," except in a few extremely conservative small towns, in order to appear more gentleman and lady, people will not do anything to other people's private lives. Comment more.
Usually the church does not interfere with people’s private lives. The church elders and pastors will most likely ask, “Did you read the Bible today?” In fact, no one cares about other people’s lives and well-being. Few people will ask straightforwardly, “Did you get up early today?” Are you still playing games all night? Why don’t you break up with your terrible girlfriend?”
Believers are also ordinary people. Don't think that everyone in the church is very noble. Maybe their behavior and ethics are no different from ordinary people, but they choose to cultivate themselves diligently.
Even if they have been baptized and sworn to join the church in public, the facts many years later show that many people’s living conditions have not improved significantly, and they have stayed still or regressed, and they have even failed to experience the happiness of life.
It is therefore understandable why so many people question the existence of God and deny the necessity and efficacy of church ministry.
Training in daily life
Ordinary people are far away from the church and cannot step into the church door. People must go through many hardships in life. They may awaken, or they may continue to sink and fall. When the opportunity arises, through the guidance of missionaries, they can enter the church. Start reading the Bible seriously.
Before entering the church, and for a long period after baptism, which may last for several years or even more than 10 years, there should be a period of novice believers before reaching the standards of qualified believers. A more precise definition is `The period of seekers.
Therefore, we launched this Internship for Seeking Fellows
program, ** for ordinary people An upgraded version based on Life Training Camp
**, it is also suitable for part-time missionaries.
That is, through the training of daily life (in the apartment), following specific behavioral norms from morning to night every day, changing some previous bad habits or wrong perceptions and behaviors, and working hard to reach the standards of believers.
According to the current practice of most churches, active believers and seekers attend church gatherings and Bible reading groups every weekend. These lessons are far from enough, and they are not enough for people to become qualified believers.
Qualified believers have the ultimate goals and principles of life, stricter behavioral norms, and higher spiritual and ideological standards. They should practice them in small things in daily life and turn the principles taught in the Bible into daily behavioral habits and high quality. The quality is daily habits, easy to follow, natural behavior and thinking habits, rather than questioning oneself as having obsessive-compulsive disorder or feeling bound by losing freedom.
We cooperate with Christian churches, actively recommend seekers to churches, and also provide apartment services for church members. The proportion of church members and non-church members in our residents is equal to half, creating a reliable human environment within the physical walls of the apartment, different from the larger social environment outside, thus ensuring that our training camp program is as effective as possible Executable.
Carefully prepare the plan, fully taking into account people's natural inertia and indolence. Strict practice and strict rules and precepts are not suitable for most people, so people should not feel too difficult, otherwise the success rate of the plan will be very low;
We fully embody the professional attitude of Christians in dealing with people. We treat people as we treat children and have enough patience. However, when we violate the red line of the rules, we will not hesitate to impose strict sanctions.
In order to select young people with good basic qualities and firmly move towards the future journey of missionaries!
